For any Penge CC members who are interested in taking part in an Autumn Training Camp
Maurice Burton over at De Ver’s has invited Penge CC members to join himself and De Ver’s Cycle Club on their Autumn training camp over in Lanzarote.
In brief the Camp involves a week of daily rides to different part of the Island collimating with ( for those with energy left in their legs ) a 100 miler around the Island on the Saturday. All levels of riders are catered for from those wishing to push themselves to their limits to those who wish to take in the Island at a more gentle pace. However it is advised that you should be confident enough to handle the ascents and descents that make Lanzarote an interesting and challenging Island to ride.
The price of the week includes an all inclusive hotel, flights and transfers. Bike hire is available from Pro Bike for those who don’t wish to take their own bikes.
