photo3This year’s Tour de Penge is on Sunday 18th May.
The Tour de Penge has become a regular part of the Penge festival, and this year we are going to start the ride on Maple Road and impress the cheering crowds as we set off down Penge High Street towards Cator park and then the Waterlink Way up towards Greenwich.

100s of riders of all ages will  make their way to Greenwich for a picnic next to the Greenwich Brewery. To have an idea of the ride please check out some photos’s from previous years rides. This will be the 8th edition of the ride first organised by Mark Soole in 2007.  This year we we will have great support from the local London cycling Campaign Group:- Bromley Cyclists, who are providing marshalls, Bromley’s Councils Sustainable Transport Team and the local Bromley Police.

Sign on in Penge Recreation ground SE20 7HQ from 10:00 am with the ride starting at 11:00 am. Tour de Penge t-shirts will be on sale for £10. All the profit will go to charity. The ride itself is free.

Children welcome if accompanied by an adult. Please bring puncture repair kit, we recommend you wear a helmet, wear suitable wet gear or sun cream if it’s sunny and bring a packed lunch and some ice-cream money.
