Info from Jason Cattermole, British Cycling.
Just to let you know, our winter 2017 HSBC Go-Ride Track Clusters are restarting next Sunday September 10th, and running roughly every month throughout winter.
Along with the Club Cluster Training sessions at Cyclopark and Herne Hill, these are the main training sessions that the Go-Ride team run specifically for members of Go-Ride clubs, so we’d love to see a wide range of clubs take advantage of this prestigious venue.
We run different sessions for different abilities. Some weeks, including the first week is specifically for novice and intermediate riders, where we cater for first time, and new track riders, as well as running bunch training drills for intermediate riders. At our intermediate and advanced sessions we run race drills for those looking at competing at Track League and Youth Omniums. These sessions also count towards accreditation, for those who want to be signed off, ready to race. Those who have been before will know what to expect, with the addition that for this year South East and Central regions are joining together for these sessions, which will make for a greater pool of riders, and closer ability groups.
Club coaches, we always need help with these sessions, so please get in contact if you are interested, we may also have coaching bursaries available for track courses.
